I HATE the summer break

Can anybody tell me why we have to have a Summer Break in the GP series???
Is it all just too much for them that they all need 5 weeks in the sun to recover from there jet set life styles??

Yes! I know the Suzuka 8 hour is on! but really they can't possably (& they don't) be testing both bikes for that long.

So I propose that if you need to have winge on this subject do so in here, and after the break we send the whole lot to dorna.

I guess I getting in early here, but after the weekend nobody in here is going to have anything to talk about for over a month. AHHHhhh I don't think i'll live

Good thing I've taped all the races this year!

P.S Go Garry MCCOY! I miss that little guy.

Tradition I'd say. It's been this way for a long time now and no one could be bothered changing it. It would be nice to have another round thrown in, and have it not clash with Suzuka.

summer break will be half bearable if the planned summer oz superbike title goes ahead , imagine the oz riders on the world stage , coming back and doing there off season training in the australian series, now that should be promoted and could be huge for oz motorcycling ......

ie : andrew pitt, kevin curtain and andrew pitt etc racing robbie baird, clarke, brookes, stauffer,charlton...the list goes on, for the oz supersport title.....

troy corser, troy bayliss, matt mladin & anthony gobert (now i am definitely dreaming  ) racing the giles alex goberts, coxhells......in oz superbike

i reckon these world class riders should come back and put something back into the oz motorcycling federation or what ever - it would be great for the riders and the tracks....ie : troy bayliss racing at winton

An extra race at Road America would fit the bill nicely

The F1 is in Hungary this weekend. Just cover half of your TV so you can only see 2 wheels and that should get you through until the next week

Only for the first lap of 500, Sarah- when Jurgen v.d. Goorbergh dropped back so badly the race was over for me. What a disappointment after such a good qualifying result.
And to rub salt into the wound, Max had to throw a possible victory away. Double bummer!!!!!!!!

After all the waiting I enjoyed todays race even tho' Max threw it away. I wonder what you all think about this weekends performance of the Shell Advance team.

Shell Advance? Were they present????? Seriously, though, not much. Haslam is doing no better than Walker did in his first few showings, proving that firing Walker was a dumb thing to do- I'm sure he would have done better by now, with more miles on the NSR. As for Clarke, he retired- no comment really.

Shell Advance.

Hmm I do think that Haslam is better for the 500 than Chris was, he rode it way to aggressivly and it spat him off alot.
Haslam is riding more with the bike, and yes he has to adjust to the 1900-200 horsepower now
Well 125 was great, 250 is not very great this year
Too bad with Max really, it could have been fun!!
Anyways it was so great to see the races again

Ant West

I never understood why Anthony West was taken out of the Advance Shell team?
Do they not know who to hire?
Hmm their loss really.
They wont win anything with the riders they have now.

Winther, I think your forgeting that brendan Clark is going to be riding a 250 for the shell advance team (his team partner will be Katja). And I think we are all wishing him all the best!

The Brno races were quite good I thought. Except the the all the wasps that were stinging the riders! V exciting 125 race and good win to Elias, he would have won even if sanna didnt crash ( I do like sanna too)

250cc I'm very disappionted that Katoh didnt win, he really is one cruse control now and probably for the rest of the season. I really dont think that Melandri can push him around like he has done for the last two races, Katoh is just to good. If he has to win a few more races at the end of the season he will.

And finally Max Max Max... well its not over, like others have been saying, Max tipped it into the corner and got the front end jumping up and down (chattering) and sliped down (great photo of it happpening too on the cover of Motocycle News)

Max has been very positive this year, he said he just wants to "do it" this year, and he still might just!! That said for the past few years, the man who comes second in the championship wins it the nest year, and even if Rossi wins, he is going to have to contend with Max on the M1 (dare I say!!! unstoppable!!!)
