Briscoe's goal for Hockenheim is to score 1 point more than Klien in those 2 races, than he's the champion. Or strange things must happen that Briscoe scores only 1, Klien 0 and Pla 22, but I don't see that happen. Briscoe was the quickest by far in the first 2 races at Hockenheim, but Klien and Pla were very quick in those rounds to.

I notice that the British runners,Carrol and Green did not fare too well.
They were even beaten by their team mates despite the fact that they both know Zandvoort pretty well.I also think they were not with bad teams.
I guess this says something about the quality of Euro F3 vs British F3?

Seems funny when you think how comprehensively the top Euro runners were beaten at SPA

The car in F3 is more important than most people think....

Chevron,

If you go further back in the Euro season, you'll notice that both Carroll and Green have demonstrated that they can fare much better - Jamie has had a podium for crying out loud!

Don't judge that argument on one performance!

In my opinion it means nothing. Euro F3 is so competitive (reguraly 20 drivers in the same second) that performances are bound to vary.

stats dont tell a thing. i know green is alot better that those results show and from what i have gathered, carroll had traffic on most of his qualifying runs for race 2 and everywhere else was consistently faster that timo glock (more experienced within the series and team). kms are a good team but not brilliant. kolles is not exactly brilliant either. i consider glock to be a pretty good driver and yet carroll has come into the team and proven much faster than him. even the official kms site seem to regard adam higher than him by now. and jamie green got a podium at pau this season which although was in a car more than capable of that it was brilliant.

as for the zandzoort track carroll and green did excellent in better cars at the masters. carroll set the most amazing qualifying lap (5th fastest but everything considered, it was amazing) and green demonstrated his skill being the fastest carlin bloke.....the 2 britsih drivers in the euroseries are not just good they are 2 of the best in series and i swear in better cars they would be championship contenders....

Put Green and Carroll in a Prema or ASM car and they will be frontrunners, for sure. The car (engineers) and engine are more important than people think. Kolles is just a bad team, that's why Green is so far away, in a good team, like ASM or Prema, he would be at the front.

Carroll almost took out Glock at the Audi S...after that scary moment I haven't seen him make any move on Glock anymore.

Must say that I had expected more of Green after seeing him at the Masters and in Spa. But then again...that was with Carlin, this was with Kolles.

Anyways...too bad the races were kinda shortened thanks to the safety car, but have seen 3 great F3 race weekends in 6 weeks. (And now it's over )
