Easy to say Max, but gonna say Perez for fighting his way up and through both Ferraris.

Albon. He drove another good race and if it hadn't been for his rear tyres going off he would have finished higher up. However, he held off Norris, lap after lap.

Sainz for me too. Good to see him put one over on his 'team leader'.....

I voted for Carlos Sainz because he was right on the ragged edge in both qually and the race. In a race that was dominated by defensive driving, it’s important to give Alex Albion a shout-out too. Credit also to Lawson for another low-key but tidy drive.

Sainz a no brainer.Heroic.
Honourable mention to Lawson who had basically been passed over for deVries. That looks like poor judgement Helmut. |

Mr Tsunoda... saved his time flogging around all day to finish 11th by blowing up on the formation lap

Very strange decision by Ferrari to not call of the scrap between Sainz and Leclerc - if the cars had been the other way around would Sainz have been allowed to race Leclerc? |

I would hope so. Right now, in my eyes, there is nothing much to choose between them and Carlos was quicker all weekend.

I think we are all pretty happy with what we saw from Carlos, and Albon. I also think Russel did some great driving where he drove with his head.
It is something of an odd race, though, when what you remember are the defenders! The only thing I take issue with is Perez as a driver of the day. He should be 1st or 2nd *every race* considering how good that car is! He is not a great driver. |

The fact that he only has one vote probably tells you that most people (here, anyway) didn't think he was.

May be he cant find the settings perfectly suiting him, what you rightly call taylor made. Surely he's a good driver but no so good taylor. ATM.

I voted for Sainz. Brilliant pole and then entertained us in the race, holding his own for as long as possible against the Red Bulls, then having an amazing fight with his team mate for 3rd
