Minnasian deserves a drive
I reckon he does after watching the first round of F3000 somewhat belatedly today - he held off a massive train of cars in a car that was patently not up to it, I think its a shame he has to ply his trade in sportscars... wont someone give him another chance?

I think that Minassian is starting to look like damaged goods. His last F3000 stint ended on a high, but being sacked by Chip Ganassi, having to do ASCAR and then falling out so publicly with the Brand people has left him looking like he's not worth the effort any more.
Which is, I think, a terrible shame. |

I'm afraid I was just basing my view of him on his on-track performance. I'd also add that a lot of the drivers around him appear to be desperate, especially Kiesa who appeared to be off-track or nerfing someone every time we saw him.

Minassian is currently here in Australia where he has tested a V8 supercar and is hoping to secure a drive with team Dynamik for the endurance races later this year.

I agree with ghinzani but the list of quality but overlooked drivers is way long, Cochet, Hynes, Paffett and Kerr to name but a few, you do wonder what team managers are thinking sometimes don`t you.

The ride at Dynamik is for enduros only though, not a permanent gig, the family of the two team drivers currently pay for the capital and running costs, so no free spaces
