Thruxton - Trucks, Mini's, Porsches :)

Had a fun day at Thruxton yesterday. My first experience of Trucks, racing was exciting and the crowd got really envolved, encouraging the drivers to do burnouts and doughnuts etc In fact it's most I've seen the crowd cheer etc, was nice to see Big crowd, nice weather, all good

Of course I took a few photo's, here's a small selection (click to view larger):

Full gallery can be viewed on my website here - http://www.ae-photography.co.uk/210805.html (even more will follow later )

Did anyone else here go?

Cheers

That mini is mad!!

I used to watch the trucks at Brands many years ago (probably mid 80's). They are impressive, lapping quicker than the p100 ford pick-ups

Glad I was behind the armco and fence - as they don't half do some damage when they get it wrong!

It was a very good meeting, much busier that I was expected. Don't get to see trucks that often but they are always entertaining.

Started at the chicane but it was far too busy so headed for the complex. Not been the Thruxton for a while so hadn't realised they had installed extra debris fencing. A necessary evil I know but that's another good photo position gone

Still sorting through my pics.
