I reckon it will be the Spanish team - good rally and Motorbike racers, and a current F1 star!!

I wonder how the US team will do. Rhys Millen has peformed quite well in our lesser SCCA rallies. He has bags of talent although not on WRC level by any means. Robby Gordon is a decent pavement racer and super dominant in off road race vehicles. Shaun Palmer is one of those freak athletes. He is fast on dirtbikes even though he does not race them, he won the Toyota Long Beach GP celebrity race outright(beating out the pro racers as well), won the luxury class(?) at Pike's Peak and is dominant in snowboarding, freestyle skiing, skicross and other extreme sports. He has a knack for winning in everything he does.
One thing for certain, they are an ecelectic mix. |

Meanwhile back on the subject, the Germans don't look too bad either. And they've been brave enough to pick a girlie too |

I always liked the quote from Nigel Mansell when asked if he thought he was very lucky...
"It seems the more I practice the luckier I get." |

For those that don't want to know the result, look away now
From www.motorsport.com " Finnish WRC ace, Harri Rovanpera was duly crowned 2001 Champion of Champions after defeating Germany's Armin Schwarz in the Final of the prestigious Michelin Race Of Champions event at the Circuito Ciudad Deportiva Islas Canarias today. The Peugeot driver triumphed two heats to one with less than a second between both drivers in every race." Apparently Marcus Gronholm and Alister McRae didn't make the semis. And in the Team's event Spain beat the All Stars team |

ROSSI WAS AWESOME!!!! HE LOST TO ALISTAR MCRAE BY LESS THAN A SECOND! AND HE LOOKED MORE STYLISH THE WAY HE WAS DRIVING. I CAN BELIEVE IT WHEN HE SAYS HE IS GOING TO GIVE UP BIKES IN A FEW YEARS FOR RALLY. A FEW YEARS PRACTICE AND HE WILL BE SPECIAL.
