CART Ladder system
I wonder what's going to become of the CART ladder system. OWRS is only buying the rights to the Champcar series and Toyota Atlantic. Will Barber Dodge contiune to be a part of Champcar race weekends? Will CART Stars of Tommorow still be associated with Champcar, will the series survive without their relationship with "ex-CART"? Is Skip Barber still going to be the official racing school of CART?
Personally, I wouldn't feel too bad at all if USF2000 or Fran-Am took the place of Barber Dodge as both cars will easily outhandle a Barber Dodge car, and even run the same lap times with considerably less HP. |

There was some talk a few months back about this new BMW series (equivalent to Barber Dodge) joing CART in 2004.....

Yeah, I heard about that, however it is not equivelant to Barber Dodge. Formula BMW have 135hp, thats about what a Formula Dodge has, not the Barber Dodge Pro car which has 265hp I believe. Formula BMW is a big step down. Fran-Am, USF2000, Barber Dodge Pro, and even the new Star Mazda are all a big step up from Formula BMW.
