Come on everybody! We need to help Craig keep this site alive by visiting these sponsors! As you can see he's posted a message telling you how much he would make a day if you clicked once! I have benefited with these sponsors with a few screen savers of my own and I am waiting to see if there are any other new sponsors coming! This site needs you to keep it alive so let's all come together and make it happen!

Couldn't put it better myself!
I'm very disappointed that we didn't earn any commission at all in December That's zero T Shirt sales, and no successful credit card applications (only one application) This is poor The credit cards especially are a real money spinner for this site -- please, please, please support the hard work which we're putting in behind the scenes to keep this site on-line by supporting our sponsors - without them we'd not be here. |

I have been clicking on those sponsor messages since Craig first mentioned it, however, I've got one rather negative question about them. We all know that while there's 800 or so registered members here, it's the dedicated hardcore who are posting here every day (or maybe many more like me, visiting every day if not posting), so if these sponsors study who's actually reaching them from Ten Tenths then are they not likely to find out it's the same people over and over again. Is there not a risk with some of them that they might say there's too many repeat hits and they'll only give money for unique hits?
Come on folks, why not take a look at the credit cards - even if you only intend on cutting the card up when it arrives, it doesn't take that long to fill out the forms and help the site. As a bit of an added incentive for anyone who reads Autosport, you can get an extra discount on subscription with the motorsport credit card |

The credit cards sound great but unfortunately they are only available to UK residents and there seems to be quite a few non UK posters (myself included)..but as for the banner thing ..yes wouldnt they work out that people are just clicking on them and then say hey whats going on lots of clicks but not many purchases???

Our job is simply to get people to click through to their site. It is then down to the design of their site, and the product they offer to convert these visitors to customers...
They know that people are likely to click their banners more than once - that is why they pay such a pathetic rate per click! The cards are, as you say, UK only. However the T Shirts, for example, are not. We have had a trully pathetic response to those... but they are a genuinely delightful product - I own one of the shirts, and wear it all the time! We get paid a commission on sales of these shirts... |

What would you like to see on there Minardi bloke ? Why not make some suggestions - Peter is offering a free T to the person who suggests one which he puts into production.
He is currently working on a Mika T (though god knows why! and he plans a Lotus one for the future (i've got my order in already! ) BTW, you'll be surprised who can get one of those cards... several of the blokes who work for me now have them, and you want to see the wages we pay...! |

I was thinking of, possibly, a Group 1 Touring car but I can't envisage a design.
Wait a minute: Touring cars from BMW and Ford would include in BMW: The Batmobile, 635CSi, 1800, the M3. With Ford you'd have the MK1 Group 2 Cologne Capri, the Group 1 Mk 2/3, the Cossie. What about the Group 5 big winged Zakspeed Capri's. AAAAAARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Help I'm going into meltdownnnnnnnnnnn [This message has been edited by Peter Mallett (edited 09 January 2000).] |

You really ought to get a grip Pete!
Have you applied for your Team Motorsport Card yet, or have you drooled all over the application form thinking about crappy old Fords? |

Craig pay me a CENT PER click and I will click the banners as many times as you like. That way I make money the site makes money and we rip off the big bussiness rich pricks. Sounds good except the sponsers may see this right. Wrong they will dismiss anything I write as rubbish cos I am just a stupid poster. Like the Idea Email me.

.......and MGs starting with the C type montlhery moving to the K3 supercharged Mille Miglia car, followed closely by EX181 the Stirling Moss Streamliner and finishing with 7 DBL the Le mans MGB...................
Listen chap. Whilst I'd like to help I have that much plastic I find sitting down difficult. I do a lot of clicking though. Craig. Do the themes need to be F1 for the T shirts? The market for classic and historic cars is probably somewhat larger. |

You don't have to use the card, there's no annual fee, you can cut it in half the second it comes thru the mailbox, ten-tenths still gets the commish...where's the harm?

......... and what about Nissan (nee Datsun?) starting with the Fairlady (240Z to us Brits), the Group C cars and the GTs......
or Bentley?.................... Audi? We could have the Auto Unions from the thirties and the Quattor followed by the A4 and the current Sports prototype........ |

BTW.
The "Quattor" was a little known model made for the Lichtenstein market and sold in its ones. So I guess maybe we should have the Quattro instead. |
