F3000 Two Worlds Prediction Competition - Round 9, Spa-Francorchamps
Welcome to the Round 9 of the F3000 Two Worlds Prediction Competition!
On this penultimate stage, we'll enter in a fantastic and historic circuit of Spa-Francorchamps, in the Belgian Ardennes. This is a speedy and fierce track for 'true racers', whose sectors like La Source, Eau Rouge, and Stavelot has made history. Spa might be the place that show us the next and last F3000 champion; we'll see if it does the same with the champion of this Competition. Post your predictions for polesitter and the top 8 finishers. The deadline will be at 4:00 AM GMT Hour of Friday before the race. A detailed overview of the rules can be found here. Remember that the you can score points for this competition in this form: - 1 point awarded for predict the correct poleman; - 1 point awarded for each predicted driver who finishes in the top 8 in the race, with one point extra if that driver finishes in the position that you predicted. Best of all lucks for all! |

Driver changes: what to do in these cases
Musical chairs are still playing and now at team Durango - GiammarÃ*a was replaced by Grassotto and Schroeder by Meneghello. Then I remind you what the Competition contemplates:
When a concursant predicts a driver who left his F3000 seat, in the predictions we will consider the car he had raced, no matter who drives that car. (For example, if you put in your predictions GiammarÃ*a, and he leaves the team before this race, that will count for Grassotto, the driver who replaced him). There is one exception: when the driver who left his car goes to another F3000 team to drive with their car. Then, I warn all concursants who posted GiammarÃ*a and/or Schroeder in their predictions that they still have time to revise them and post again before Thursday midnight if they want (unless they want to leave Grassotto and/or Meneghello in their places). Again, I post there the current F3000 entrylist to help your memory: 1. Vitantonio Liuzzi (Italy) - Arden International 2. Robert Doornbos (Netherlands) - Arden International 3. José MarÃ*a López (Argentina) - CMS Performance 4. Matthias Lauda (Austria) - CMS Performance 5. Matteo Meneghello (Italy) - Durango Formula 6. Ernesto Viso (Venezuela) - Durango Formula 7. Patrick Friesacher (Austria) - Coloni Motorsport 8. Chanoch Nissany (Israel) - Coloni Motorsport 9. Jeffrey van Hooydonk (Belgium) - SuperNova Racing 10. Can Artam (Turkey) - SuperNova Racing 11. Nico Verdonck (Belgium) - Team Astromega 12. Olivier Tielemans (Netherlands) - Team Astromega 14. Enrico Toccacelo (Italy) - BCN Competición F3000 15. Esteban Guerrieri (Argentina) - BCN Competición F3000 16. Tony Schmidt (Germany) - Ma-Con Eingenieering 17. Tomas Enge (Czech Republic) - Ma-Con Eingenieering 18. Matteo Grassotto (Italy) - AEZ Racing 19. Ferdinando Monfardini (Italy) - AEZ Racing |

Damn!
I missed the deadline for my home race - due to a party that went a little bit (completely) out of hand ... Just to prove that missing this round makes absolutely NO difference : Pole: Liuzzi 1. Liuzzi 2. Friesacher 3. Enge 4. Toccacello 5. Doornbos 6. Schmidt 7. VanHooydonk 8. Verdonck |
