The Way I See Things

Here's the list of the 2003 grid, the way I see it.

I'd call it the "10Tenths Official CART list", but we're not allowed to use the word official, hence I won't.

Tell me if you've got any updates, or see any inconsistencies.

Keep the link, and we'll keep it updated as news is broken...

I think that looks accurate -- hope we get some more updates soon!

All accounts I've read indicate NH will have another car. Should be in the expected list. Any reason you didn't include?

Looking promising, but I'll feel alot better once those two 'expected' cars are confirmed.

Snrub, the second N/Haas car is in the "expected" list, along with a second Herdez car for Moreno.

I can't remember who announced the Lavin deal, but I thought that was sealed. I guess there may be others emerging along the way.

i'll be honest- i love the look of the purple/white N/H car. i'll miss the black havoline car, but if the #1 sits proudly on the purple car, it'll be awesome looking. its probably Bruno's favorite color.

Not looking at your list (so as to be independent) this is what I see lining up at St. Petersburg:

#1 Bruno Junqueiro (Lilly NHR Lola)
#2 Sebastian Bourdais (Lilly NHR Lola)
#3 Paul Tracy (Player's Forsythe Lola)
#4 Roberto Moreno (Herdez Lola)
#5 ??? (Walker Reynard)
#9 Michel Jourdain Jr. (Gigante Rahal Lola)
#11 Memo Gidley [50-50] (DCR Lola)
#12 Jimmy Vasser (ASJM Reynard)
#19 Joel Camathais (DCR Lola)
#20 Oriol Servia (Visteon Patrick Lola)
#31 Ryan Hunter-Reay (ASJM Reynard)
#32 Patrick Carpentier (Player's Forsythe Lola)
#33 Alexandre Tagliani (Johnson Controls Rocketsports Lola)
#34 Mario Haberfeld (Conquest Reynard)
#51 Adrian Fernandez (Tecate Fernandez Lola)
#55 Mario Dominguez (Herdez Lola)
# TBA (PK Racing TBA)
# TBA (TBA TBA)

Walker was a no show at Laguna Seca, and that is not good. His driver/funding situation is not settled. Gidley is not 100%, but I think he'll race everywhere DCR doesn't sell the seat (Andre Lotterer comes to mind). I have no idea what the 18th car will be, as I have no faith in Emerson Fittipaldi given his track record.

Well, even if he was, Walker would still have to find a DRIVER for that car.

The DCR Lola is not gonna be driven by Memo. I never even heard of a second DCR car, let alone Gidley in it.
Second,That fully TBA Car should be filled by Alex Yoong, or Alex "The Rich Flop" Yoong and all his backing by Magnum.
Third, Isn't Lavin supposed to be in a Walker car? (btw I forgot his first name)

Minardi4eva,

Where did you see that? I see no such claim on CART.com

The Target cars are in Indycar and have already been shown in public. BTW they are #9 Scott Dixon and #10 Tomas Schecter. See link below

Target won't be sponsoring Junqueira's car, I know that for a fact. When they are announced not many would have heard of the new sponsors for N/H.

With all the previous talk of Yoong's personal sponsors, I'm really kinda surprised that he hasn't been announced yet. I was fully expecting Forsythe to run him.

What happened to the plans for Mario Andretti to run a car in association with Newman-Haas?
