I'm relly confused now. Earlier this year all hell broke loose in British racing when the leading players in BMP (BHL, Donnington and Thruxton) threw their toys out of the pram 'cos Powertour didn't offer enough racing. Now they've announced next years Touring car package and we have Touring cars (x3), Clio's, FRenault and Elise's plus one or more guest races maybe. OK that's one extra race over this years powertour, but with the race lengths its probably about the same ammount of track time, with less variety. Not the kind of supporting cast to line up if people might be wavering about going to the meeting because of the dubious quality of Touring cars next year.

I know that with powertour having F3 (x2), GT's, Tuscans, Porsches, FFord and Fiascos, plus a guest race, I'll be doing a lot more powertour meetings than Touring car meetings.

Have been thinking the same thing all day.. what's the point going to a TOCA meeting next year and paying plenty of cash to get in.. the only series that mean anything in the package are BTCC and Formula Renualt!! The 'secret' support races better be good otherwise it'll become a joke.

Powertour have seemed to have somewhat pulled it off by getting Formula Ford into their package. And the Porsche Cup with GT3 cars in it will be excellent..

Doubtful whether you'll be getting me to Thruxton for 2 days next May.. did you also notice that no Brands GP event was there - still hoping for planning permission are they??
