Mine too!
The first one was Paddy. The obvious name for the third was Rauno but there was a bit of oposition to that at home so he was called Rory (...Gallagher, if you're old enough). Fred |

Makinen was a big fella (like me) so I know how cramped he was inside those Healeys. |

Big, easy going like my Timo (Golden Retriever).
Now Rauno, always looking for the next advantage or opportunity, was very different. A bit like Rory, the Springer Spaniel, turned out. Why do I think that we're about to be told that this is a motor sports forum? |

Think I saw it some years ago. Castrol film?
Timo was one of the greats. Rauno too, but in a much more analytical way, a bit like my dogs. Sadly I don't live with them any longer..... |

Darren has added all the additional winners, Barrie Williams being the 1st ever winner of an International Rally in a Cooper S.
For interest, here is a picture of the Austin Cooper I currently own on it's way to 18th O/A on the 1963 Monte Carlo Rally. This is me in the Navigators seat (on the 2002 Targa Rusticana) of the Ex-Works Morris Cooper which is used to great effect by Peter Barker (usually with ex-works navigator Willie Cave) on the large European historic Rallies. A few of the old Works Rally cars are still being used to good effect. |
