You mean the alfa SPORTS SEdan? So what? It is over 3 seconds slower than the outright lap record and 14 seconds slower than the outright lap record on the short circuit at Winton.
The relationship being???? |

the point i make is just a line of v8 supercars are not the fastest cars out there. People seem to forget that. Well they do over here. They dont understand the alfa and the veskanda or a ralt rt4 for that matter.
I never saw formula 5000's race the greatest series ever race here as in national championship and i never got to see the group c race. Bellof on a quick lap at sandown would of been magic. |

You forget one thing though - you cannot compare V8's to sports sedans, F3's, F3000 or even sports cars - they are all TOTALLY DIFFERENT CARS.
So regardless of how you look at it you cannot compare Besnards time to anyone else other than a V8 Soupcar. As for the Alfa's time - if you really want to put that into perspective it is still not as quick as the Edmonson times that were set back in 1985...in a sports sedan! Bellof at Sandown was, in all honest, just another car on a very quick line - in qualifying he was rarely with anyone else and, in a race, the entire field was travelling just as quick - so he didn't really stand out. |
