Liveries
Tim Northcutt is right, there's a lot of silver n blue out there...
but all is not lost! The Noel Del Bello cars usually make an effort (looks v nice this year) and the MG badge on the nose of the Clandesteam Dallara is sexy... and the red-white-'n'-blue RML thing looks very retro too! on the other hand, the livery on the Luc Alphand Porsche is just SOOO dull, and the Pagani would actually benefit from being silver like the road ones usually pictured... and why does Larbre's Maranello have to look so me-too?? btw, what is the Zytek's real name? is it a DBA-type-thing-04-whatever??? That'd look nice whatever they paint it in... |

As far as I know, the Zyteks are now officially Zytek 04Ss, having been Reynards and DBAs and goodness-knows-what.

The Zytek is a Zytek because it was built by,.............Zytek!
Creation's car meanwhile is the original DBA |

But it was something else before it was a DBA, wasn't it?

Sure it wasn't originally a Debora?

I liked the liveries of the Pescarolo very much, just like the Goh Audi, the Kondo Dome, the Petersen Porsche (sorry, again !), the RML Lola and the TVR's. Woooow !!!
Plain ugly: ALL Courages JPX (all terrain vehicle) Nasamax Cirtek Ferrari A bit boring, as in "seen before": Seikel Porsche (try something else) WR (try something else) PK Sport Porsche (try something else) Champion Audi (try something else) Larbre Panoz (try something else) Larbre Ferrari (try to be original) |

There were fairly obvious livery changes through the weekend, presumably as teams unpacked the box labelled "stickers". The Pagani left the track looking much racier than when it arrived. Same goes for the Barron Connor cars. It even looks like Alphand found a couple of stickers for his boring ole 911. Same goes for the red 360 (the JMB? they confuse me).

I'm not far from EliseGT1 on this... the Choroq Porsche was not bad too...
There's definitely something to do for the C65, except the Belmondo car which is nice IMHO. What about a red Lister, as we saw lately ? |

I think teams didn't have the time give the cars the right livery/stickers.

Some sponsors will be found before june for C65, Modena, Racer's group and some others. I'm sure there will be others intetresting pictures to get from the pesage of tuesday.
Now one of the nicest is the Pescarolo C60 livery. |

"Tim Northcutt is right" Response: A Blind Squirrel is BOUND to find an Acorn Sometime!!! But to comment serious ly on your post.... The RML Livery is also one of my favorites....a beautiful combination that mkes the whole package easily identifiesd and downright fast!!!! and although I still wonder about the "Clearance Sale" on the silver paint, I, too, agree that the Pagoni should be in the readily ID'ed silver that it is known for... |

On the internet on some "For Sale" sites, I did see a Debora that was sold for a very cheap price (57,000 Euros).... Maybe their "stepping back" from sportscar racing will mean that small budget teams might be able to get their hands on these cars to run low-$$$ privateer efforts in LMP2.... |
