GP2 Two Worlds Prediction Competition - R06 Silverstone
Welcome to the Round 6 of the 2006 GP2 Two Worlds Prediction Competition!
After the glamour of Monaco, GP2 Series will return to a racing track: the circuit of Silverstone. This historic circuit will defy GP2 drivers to show their abilities in front of passionate Formula 1 fans, one more time. In all GP2 race weekends, we'll post our predictions for these items: race 1 polesitter, top 8 finishers of Race 1, top 6 finishers of Race 2 and fastest lap scorers of races 1 and 2. The deadline will be at 4:00 AM GMT Hour of June 9th. A detailed overview of the rules can be found HERE. Best of all lucks for everyone! |

ATTENTION: Driver change
There is a driver change at one of GP2 teams: Swiss Neel Jani will sub Frenchman Nicolas Lapierre at Arden car #4 for next Silverstone GP2 weekend.
We remember what contemplates the GP2 TWPC Rulebook about this: "...When a concursant predicts a driver who left his seat, in the predictions usually we will consider the car he had raced, no matter who drives that car. There is one exception: when the driver who left his car goes to another team to drive with their car." That means that, for the round of GP2 TWPC in course, all entries where Lapierre is predicted in the results, will be considered as Jani's. Users of GP2 Two Worlds Prediction Competition, with these considerations noted, are free to revise their predictions before deadline. |

ATTENTION: Another driver change
Another driver change was announced on the GP2 Series: due to wrist injuries, Frenchman Olivier Pla will be subbed by Englishman Mike Conway at DPR Direxiv car #20 for next Silverstone GP2 weekend.

ATTENTION: About driver changes for this weekend
Musical chairs are playing! Now German Timo Glock moves from BCN to Isport to race in their car number 8 left by Frenchman Tristan Gommendy; meanwhile, Italian Luca Filippi takes the BCN car number 19 avaliable.
In the other driver replacement messages, it is stated what Rulebook says about this. With so many driver changes before Silverstone GP2 weekend, there are our considerations about predictions for this round: - If you've picked Lapierre, it counts as Jani. - If you've picked Gommendy, it counts as Glock. - If you've picked Glock, it stays the same. - If you've picked Pla, it counts as Conway. - The clash of both Glock and Gommendy on the same prediction for race 1 or race 2 (except fastest lap) won't valid their mentions on any predictions. Of course you are free to revise your predictions before deadline, 4 AM GMT of next Friday. |

I wasn't going to do this, but after my modest success in the last round I think I should try to grab a few more points for Ten-Tenths! Like some others, I think Piquet will be quick at his favourite circuit, but the ART advantage is still a concern. Here's my shot in the dark:
