Aussie Racing Cars
Hopefully we can get some intelligent responses to this thread instead of personal attacks.
In another thread by the same name I asked the question: Where are all the cars? They have been racing for a few years now, and building new cars all the time, I am interested in finding out how many cars are sitting in sheds and where they are located. My thoughts are that there should be enough cars out there that cant or dont want to run in the national series but may be interested in running state based events or just drive days. Are any of these ownersinterested in leasing their cars for test days, corporate days etc.

I don’t think that you will find that there will be many owners who will take the risk of doing anything outside of what the Creator wishes and we all know that the Creator wouldn’t want to see cars being leased out without the Creator having an opportunity to also earn money from it.
I also don’t think that you will see to many owners wanting to see their cars punted from lesser experienced drivers at trackdays. As tough as these amazing little cars are, they are also finely tuned race cars that require a lot of attention to detail should you want to maintain them as such. Also its funny that when people do go outside of what the Creator wishes for the cars of HIS class, questions about those cars now eligibility is raised. I am not saying that this is in the rule book because we know that there are a few different rule books but I do know it has happened to persons on various occasions in the past. |

I agre that these are serious little race cars but as I understand it the original concept was a class of car that 'gentlemen' could take out for mid week drive days. Wardy was doing this for a while with karts but found that karts were pounding some of the more mature drivers. ARC was a way to have a more comfortable kart.

Congratulations to Paul Kemal for another championship. There was some serious racing at Indy and it would be good to see them at every V8 race. Go Aussie Race Cars!!!

So now the season is over and Pablo has done another great job! when is Tony Quinn going to live up to the promised 997 cup car test for winning the championship in 06? and morally in 07
 Surely Tony can afford to run a champ like Pablo??? |
