Jimmy Spencer seems to be doing much better than I expected and what about poor Terry Labonte? What has happened to him? Bobby Labonte and Jeff Burton are having poor seasons by their standards so far as well.

Gordon & Jarrett equal first on 2515 points! I didn't expect that.

On the upside: Marlin and Harvick (what a fantastic rookie season!).

On the downside: all Rousch drivers, Kyle Petty and Joe Nemechek. (Maybe Mayfield too - he shouldn't be 23rd.)

On the high side, I am surprised by Marlin and Harvick. I never expected either to do that well. On the low side, I am surprised by both Labontes, both Burtons and Mark Martin. I did not expect them to struggle like this -- comparatively speaking.

I also agree on Spencer and Mayfield. Jimmy seems to be coming around. I cannot figure out Jeremy. I think he is potentially one of the best -- but he is still struggling.

Welcome aboard Preacher! I hope that we can attract more quality posters like yourself here.

Back to the topic, none of Jack Roush teams are having great years overall. Actually, Kurt Busch is doing a surprisingly great job for a rookie considering the year Roush in having and the history of that car.

As far as Joe Gibbs, I don't know what the problem has been for the #18 car but if you look at Tony Stewart, he would be right in the championship hunt if it weren't for the Daytona penalty and getting taken out by Sterling Marlin.

Thank you! Anyway, I agree! With a couple of breaks, Stewart is right in the hunt. I'm baffled as to why Bobby L. is doing so-so.
