Although Steve and I don't know Keith or his family personally, we send our sincere condolences to his family at this very sad time.

Dad, We Miss You

I would like to thank all marshalls sending their condolences to us at this difficult time. Dad was a wonderful guy, we all loved him and will always miss him. He loved the motorsport world and paid alot of effort to the marshalling scene, being a very dedicated marshall.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
Rest in peace dad we love you.

Steve, Adi, Cheryl and all the family. xxx

Keith Dixon (05/07/59-01/07/05)

Following on from silvershadow's posting titled sad news.
I would like to notify all marshalls, my father died on friday morning after slipping into a diabetic coma on the pennine hills.
He went away camping last week and went to a place which he loved going to.
His body was found in his sleeping bag on Kinder scout on friday morning, and by the looks of it, he tried to get himself well before slipping away, but to no avail.
Dad was a long term diabetic sufferer and lived life to the full even through the side effects of the diabetes.
If anyone would like to attend the funeral, please either contact myself or silvershadow for arrangements.
All marshalls who are attending, please be aware, PROBANS ONLY PLEASE!!!!! we are doing all we can to give him the best send off possible, he will be laid to rest in his probans too. Funeral date to be announced over the next week or so.

Steve Dixon, (Keith's eldest)
