Pickup Trucks 2007 (uk)
I looking forward to this years Pickup Truck championship very much.
I see that they are doing some rounds with the Legends as well that is a good match. So who is going where in 2007? I understand that Seger Racing is running two trucks this year and does anyone know what Kelly Jayne is doing? I cant be the only one who thinks she deserves a chance in America, Danica Patrick watch out? News, rumors etc post them here! |

Come ye both to the Rock and marvel at the entertainment, the numbers are apparently going to approach or better 30 on the grid, it will be fantastic racing from what is probably the closest and fastest racing series in GB bar none.
Last year we had the closest gap ever between the first three finishers in both races on 6/7 May, the total times combined were 0.483secs, consisting of 1st - 3rd race 1: 0.057sec, race 2: 0.426sec. If you venture into our neck of the woods, look me up I'll be on the gantry, you'll have a fantastic day out. Ian C |

I enjoyed the pickups at Brands (as part ot the Truck meeting), close racing and plenty of overtaking - good stuff. Are they back at Brands at all this year?

Yes for the same meeting Nov 3/4. Why not come to Rockingham they a lot better there, faster, closer, much more overtaking and 130mph power slides!

SCSA are much improved with increased numbers, the main newbie interest is Shane Lynch driving the #99 for Revolution Racing sponsored by the Fire Brigade Benevolent Fund, Rob Compton who drove the 6.6l V8 Astra is moving from the Dunlop Track & Race Cars to SCSA and has bought Mike Proctors car. K&N Filters are the official filtration partner for the 2007 SCSA V8 Trophy championship.
PuT are as manic as ever and always steal the show. There are 15 different infield series/championships supporting the oval racing. I'll PM you with some web links. Look me up on the gantry. Cheers Ian |

Somebody call me? And moving from the Dunlop Track & Race Cars.... more of a "as well as - time & budget permitting". I might well take the ASCAR out in DTRC to try out the "road course setup" that I have with it. As for helping me out... well, again, it's all up in the air. Until I know what's going on myself (sponsors wise), I'm not committing to anything... Rob. |

There's only one proper gantry where you could get seasick from the buffeting of cars going under you. or make an a*se of yourself by dropping a flag. Cheers Ian |
