Welcome to Antrodemus!

Some of you may have noticed a change in the Australasian Touring Car Forum... a personnel addition.. in the Aussie/NZ playground..

Fresh from managing the brilliant V8Supercar Fantasy Championship these last many seasons... Antrodemus has stepped up his involvement with the site, and has joined Woolley and myself in the forum moderation team.

Congratulations Antro & welcome to the team!

Please make him feel at home..

BackSeat Driver should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hi Antrodemus,

Can you break us out of this naughty boys corner so we can go & play with all the big kids in the open forum?.

We were all quite naughty a while back, Revving other people up and insulting each other to Maxi breaking point.

We used to do our best slagging in the evenings (NZ time) while Wolley was getting his beauty sleep. I would look foward to logging in first thing in the mornings to see who had accused who of being who, before it all got deleted.

Enjoy the Kiwi corner

Thanks for the group confession

You'll also note I'm in the Kiwi corner, so between the three of us there will be no escape!

no, the conspirists?? of the north have this spazzy notion that everyone in the South Island is Pro -MSNZ, control MSNZ and are in-bred hicks with unsafe racetracks (which of course is true except for highlands)

Jeez, this overall message board is not what it was. Not only cleaned up, but sanitised so much that hardly anyone ever posts any more, which is sad really.

Personally I'd rather see a load of posters mud slinging rather than no posts at all! Now there is no robust debate at all.

Well it's easy enough to set up your own. Make sure you have a separate mailbox for all the legal (and physical) threats that you'll receive from the participants - oh and I'd have a solicitor on 24/7 call if I were you. And remember, eventually they will find out who you are offline.
Enjoy.

Well that is not really true, there are plenty of hicks in Palmerston North who support MSNZ

Also from what I have seen, and despite it being a lovely circuit, there are a couple of areas of concern I would have about driving fast at Highlands, one of them being that bridge (going under and over), and also maybe a few trees in there that might cause a bit of trouble...

Not everyone from Chch is bad, Dan Carter and Richie are from there and they are good chaps by all accounts, and let's not forget Chris and David Abbott, both of whom are also good blokes. On the flipside, Gerry Brownlee is from there, as are (literally) half the murderers in the country...

I forgot though, Dan Carter lives in Auckland and has done for some years

Actually, Richie was born in Oamaru and schooled in Dunedin, so perhaps that makes him half-hick. Either way, he's another Cantab import.

Doesn't Canterbury span from like Nelson Bays right down to North Otago? Seems that way anyway

Officially, the Crusaders region does include Nelson Bays, Marlborough AND the West Coast.

Unofficially, their net is much larger, roping in payers from the rest of the South Island, Hawkes Bay, Auckland, or wherever they can. I guess that's what happens in professional sport.....

Yep, the EPL is a good example - not that many Englishmen in my Man U team...

Not too many Mancunians in the crowd either, support seems to be based on success rather than locality. Not surprised to see that the supporters aren't limited to just our biggest city but include yours as well.

I'd guess there are as many British players in the Man Utd squad as any other EPL winning team of the last couple of decades.

And just as high a proportion of Mancunians in the stands as at City.

(What was the point again? )
