I agree with you 100 per cent, club racing is the best, me and the wife go to every BEMSEE - MRO meeting at Brands and the racing is a class above anything else, in fact ten-tenths seems to not even have anyone apart from us that are interested in club bike racing.I used to post saying how great club racing is but there seems to be no one out there. The thing about W.S.B. and grand Prix fans is they all appear to be fanatical about a few riders, well let me tell you i have no favourates at the bemsee - mro, they are all bloody hero's and i respect and support every one of them. I take hundreds of photo's of club racers and if some of those W.S.B. fans could see what hard B######s club racers are they like me would be hooked, after all most club racers have to pay out of their own pockets when they have a "off", but do they slow a bit and take it easy, well anyone who has seen these racers in action knows the answer and if you go on the M.R.O site under Misc pics you will see a couple of examples i caught of how hard they race. So if any club racers read this i take my hat of to you and wish you a safe and rewarding season to come and if you want to say hello i will on the banking just up from paddock. P.S. if you ask nicely i may take a couple of pics pff you in action, gratis. Paul Bridges

at last somebody else is out there
unfortunatley i cant make any bemsee meetings this year i got the avaliablity form through yesterday and they are not coming to mallory this year or donnington. nevermind because i still have the likes of emra, newera, vmcc, cmcc retford etc with all this choice it provides me with great racing every weekend and you get to see the stars of the future. these lads are giving it the max and the racing so close you could cover the top ten with a blanket alot of the time |

I personally do not have a site but i do post a few on the MRO site www.bemsee.co.uk if you like club racing this site is a must, lets hope we spur a few more people on ten - tenths to wake up to club bikes. By the way the bemsee site is very friendly and i know you will be made welcome on their forum.

We're going to try to do at least one of the Bemsee Cadwell meetings; you're welcome to come & join us at Oulton. I'm looking forward to a good season for my mate Daz Jones in the Aprilia Milles........ Last edited by Dave Brand; 10 Jan 2003 at 21:22. |

Hi, I'm another fan of the Club meetings ( only been to Oulton Park though) Yes, they should spread their wings and get themselves up North!!!

It is a great shame that we don't see more of Bemsee at the northern circuits, as nobody organises meetings better, or does so much for the sport. |

Actually it was far too wet. Still a fit person like you could have wrapped up nice and warm and dry, I might even have lent you my orange umbrella, to both watch and photograph the racing. Quote:

Is the first round of the BEMSEE - MRO at Brands in the first week of march?.does anyone know, Have octogon produced a list of meetings yet?. Christ waiting for some sort of racing is killing me, i hate winter,i work in the construction industry and one week we freeze and then the next we drown. Roll on spring, at least the rain is a little warmer.

The first meeting of the season is the Bemsee national championships on the 8th & 9th of March. First MRO is Snett on the 23rd, with a King of Clubs round on the 22nd. Check the dates at: www.bemsee.co.uk as they are still officially provisional. |
