Frosty in canter? It might be a brave person to be against him.
Did you see the incar shots of the #5 car in Queensland... smooth wheelwork, little stress on the driver... looked just another bloke in a blue car... |

I tipped Whincup though. Winterbottom won in his backyard so Whincup will win in his. |

Courtney for mine....he has learnt how to win in a V8 now and if it wasnt for SBR "tuning" the speed out of the car on Saturday night there is no reason why the Race 1 procession would not have continued on Sunday....Frosty is the obvious danger - wouldnt you love to be driving a car that handles like his!!!

does anyone find it interesting that 7 days before the event, the V8 SC website has virtually no info on the meeting ?
No schedule, no entry lists for either series, no anything. Is something wrong ? |

I was hinting that the lines of communication between North East Victoria, and South East Queensland might be suffering from a pigeon shortage. |

The real question is : Which Ford will take the win.
Hard to go past Frosty, would be cool to see James take another win or 2 though |

For the first time since the 1980's I will miss attending this round of the current form of touring car's. Hopefully I may be in some form of civilization and will have access to the televised broadcast or possibly the internet. To the race teams, I wish them a successful weekend. To the officials, I hope that you have an enjoyable time, I know that you guys will undertake your alloted duties with the professionalism that has become part of the Winton culture. To the team at Winton Raceway I have no doubt that you will provide the motor sport public with a ****** (that's five star) class event that has been provided at previous events.
No doubt that there will be further postings re the Winton round and much discussion on who got the wrath of the officials, who did the wrong thing and who was just unlucky. The only advantage of not being trackside will be a weekeed free of PVDA, sorry Paul, only joking????. |

well the "Factory Ford" upstaged Rusty on his home turf so you would only imagine it would happen here and maybe by abit more, also i think atleast for Winton the "Factory Holden" will be up there aslong as it's dry.

So who from ten-tenths (apart from Big Trev & PVDA) is going to Winton this weekend ?
If I can convince dad to drive me, I'll be there on Sunday, cheering on the boys. |
