Brands Hatch Training this weekend
A fairly simple question I hope - what are the arrangements for this weekend? I phoned the training answerphone early in January, but have received nothing to tell me whether I have a place on the course, times, places etc. I know this is kind of last minute, but I was expecting a letter this week, and having been away or out every evening, I haven't had a chance to do anything about it before now.
Assuming that the M25 isn't looking like a stage from Rally Sweden at the weekend, I'm very keen to get to Brands and learn which end of an extinguisher is the one to point at a car. Any and all info will be much appreciated |

Judging be the number of course/incident people there are around, why only on the Saturday? |

Tis I again - the M25 may have been clear, but my road and the nasty, nasty hill down into the centre of town looked like a stage from Monte Carlo this morning, so I wimped out (my car may have ABS and traction control, but when there's no traction to be controlled, it ain't a lot of use!).
From Peter's post, I take it there's no point in me (trainee, with about 5 meetings experience,no previous training)going to Brands tomorrow then? Looks like a trip to Rockingham is on the cards... Incidentally, has anyone else had a problem with the training answermachine service, i.e details laeft as requested, but nothing heard or seen since? Just wondering if my funny accent (part Lancashire, part west Cumbria, part central Scotland)confusd them. Best hope I never have to phone in to race control then! |

I would think you would be welcome to come to the Thruxton training on the 15th if you contact Karen at the BARC or alternatively try Silverstone also on the 15th contact Pam Dearn at BRDC.if your new to marshalling you will find you can never get enough training it helps to build your confidence. |
