WJM, Ive just been on the ERA site, seems to be only 9 rounds on calendar, the Dutch round isnt included, have I missed something here, no Dutch round?

The Dutch round was not included in the ERA cup previous years either.
Don't know what's the reason for it.

The ERC round in Austria, same over there, not included in the ERA calender.

The organisers are not members of the European Rallycross Association hence they are not in the championship. Its all down to politics !!!

No Dutch round will just have to look for another event to go to this year then !! The cheap ryanair flights to Eindhoven made it a very good place to visit.

Doh, there is a Dutch round! Check the calendar and the responses in this thread! The Dutch haven't been part of the ERA for many years now.

It's the FIA European Championship for Rallycross Drivers (incl. 11 rounds in 2006) that counts and definitely not the ERA Cup (of 9 of the 11 ECR organisers)...

Doh is right . Didn't realise the ERC and ERA where diferent things. Thought ERA was just the organisation that run the european championship rounds.

This thread has a wrong name/title. It should read European Rallycross Association Cup Rounds...

PS: FIA rules the ERC, ERA is the Association of the single ECR organisers. However, at the moment Valkenswaard (Netherlands) and Greinbach (Austria) are not members of ERA and therefore take not part in its Cup series, that simply runs parallel to the FIA ERC.

Yes - confusing or what?

Anyone know if there is an official FIA/ERC website with regs, schedules and registered drivers? Or do the ERC organisers simply support rallycross.com?

There is no special ERC website of the FIA and you have to find all its RX rules, dates etc. yourself on FIA's homepage: http://www.fia.com/ and here: http://www.fia.com/resources/documen...04_Art_279.pdf. ERA's homepage is here: http://www.rallycross.de/era/index.html - just freshly updated.

Thanks rx-guru.

Its a pity there is not an ERC promotional site with details of the regular drivers, the schedule, the tracks, tv coverage, videoclips, fan forums etc. Although rallycross.com is very good it would be good to see a dedicated FIA/ERC site to raise the profile of the series...

That's pretty confident seeing that the domain still has not been registred to anyone.
