I gave it six. Processional after the opening laps with little real racing taking place other than what resulted from tyre degradation. A disappointment really.

6 from me. Some good moments and really good to see F1 back in Melbourne with over 400K spectators but ultimately the race was worth a 6 and no more than that.

It was great to see Albert Park back on the calendar, as for the race itself, it wasn't outstanding just OK. 6.

Sergio Perez described it best when he radioed his team in the final laps "Guys, anyone still awake there?" I gave it a 4.

4 - a procession.
These cars can definitely follow a lot closer, but actually overtaking is still an issue at this track, even with DRS. |

Loved the crowd immensely but lost Max and the fight at the front, too much VSC/SC, camera work with all the lens flare stuff is something I don’t like aesthetically, the time of day I felt the long shadows made me ever sleepier at the time of night I was watching, too much DRS but didn’t see the switchbacks we saw in earlier races.
An overly critical 5 |

Yeah, this was not that much of a improvement, right? Sure they can follow closely, we can see that ourselves Sky F1, but there's still not much overtaking at Albert Park.
Kudos to Ricciardo for being honest and expressing that some more work might be needed. Anyway. I gave it a 5. A snoozer. |

6 for me. It had its own moments. Certainly not a classic and lacks the spark it had as the season opener, although there's still buzz about the place and it's good to see Australia back on the calendar.

7. That was much better than I was expecting. Track still could be improved, but compared with previous years at least we some some action.

7. Pretty good but not scintillating.

A rather generous 6 on the highlights.

Like Aysi I watched the highlights and wavered between 5 and 6. Went for a 6 but not a sparkling race.
Good to see Ferrari on top. Pleased for George. Sorry for Max. |
