Is Racecar Engineering always so out of date
Bought the December issue of Racecar Engineering to read the excellent bit about the flying sportscars.
However there was an article about the Subaru WRC S14 which was about six months old. Having seen the recent Subaru is dead article on crash I was expecting something more recent than something that could have been written in June! Since the article was written Subaru have all but abondoned Bos dampers, and will use Ohlins in 2009. One of the biggest problems with the S12 seemed to have been included in the S14? The last incarnation of the S12 was the S12C, not the S12B. Last edited by TWRv12; 17 Nov 2008 at 16:50. |

The s14 is a brand new ar with totaly different dimentions though. the Ohlins dampers may have suited the new car more that the Bos ones
