Super Formula 2022

Since there was no thread for the 2021 season, I've decided to create a thread for the 2022 Super Formula Championship.

Calendar:
- Round 1: Fuji (April 10)
- Round 2: Suzuka (April 24)
- Round 3: Autopolis (May 22)
- Round 4: Sugo (June 19)
- Round 5: Fuji (July 17)
- Round 6: Motegi (August 21)
- Round 7: Suzuka (October 30)

Toyota's team and driver lineup:
- Kondo Racing: Kenta Yamashita/Sacha Fenestraz
- KCMG: Kamui Kobayashi/Yuji Kunimoto
- Rookie Racing: Kazuya Oshima
- Team Impul: Yuhi Sekiguchi/Ryo Hirakawa
- Team TOM'S: Giuliano Alesi/Ritomo Miyata
- Cerumo Inging: Sho Tsuboi/Sena Sakaguchi
Only one change is that Giuliano Alesi is now a full-time driver, replacing the retiring Kazuki Nakajima.

Honda's lineup is yet to be announced.

Real bummer that we'll have to pay a small fee to watch live races, from qualifying to the main race itself.

90 yen is not that expensive, but it's a shame that Super Formula charges us to watch their live content.

Even if Super Formula have SF LIVE, Motorsport.tv is still continuing their Super Formula broadcasting deal but have put it to Premium content.

I've not managed to watch any of the season so far (I'm blaming having a newborn baby, and therefore being perenially tired!), but Nojiri really does seem inevitable doesn't he?
He's my favourite SF driver, so I'm not complaining.

Unfortunate that Honda drivers (and Nissan drivers in Super GT) don't really have anything international to aim for, even as one-off races.
Anyway, that's a different conversation.
