That would look awesome. It would be the best-looking car on the grid if that scheme were used. Shame it probably it won't be, though. At least for this year...maybe 2006, then?

Can someone remind why McLaren are changing livery, is there some Tobbaco ban later this year?
If so, will all the other teams be changing liveries?

Yup, the silver is for Merc I'd have thought. West's colouring is red and white. (presumably then the orange/red flashes are for West.

The McLaren logo has a red flash after the n.

Correct, Orange is actually McLaren's corporate colour, though it's not used on the race cars, but that is why they used it when testing their cars before the official launch of the (new) Silver Arrows back in 1997.

Hmm... I thought they were sticking to the same colour scheme as this photo implies? And that livery is horrible - a light blue car would be much better.
