DNQ should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Anyone getting a little bored of McLaren's livery? It is rather nice and formal looking, but, it has been around since 1997, and maybe could do with some minor changes. Perhaps some extra red would improve it?

The McLaren livery is the best on the grid! It changed significantly for 1998 (from 1997) and it has minor revisions each year to make it fit the contours of the car better. I do not think it should be chnaged.. it is cool because it evolves.

MacLaren has the best designers not only to build the car but as well to paint it.

Its one of the best painted cars on the grid, if you think thats been around long enough with it entering only its 5th year, then what did you think when it had Marlboro colours. And how long has it been since Ferrari had a radical new paint sceme as we're all bored with RED.

I don't like the McLaren livery. It's not even silver, it's grey. And I saw that well because Frank Williams said so too and we al know he knows a lot more about F1 than all of us.

And the McLaren livery is BOOOOOOORING! The only thing exciting about it are the red splashes, and they've kept them to a minimum. BOOOOOOO!!!!

If I were Ron Dennis I would scrape everything of the car and paint it totally silver. I wouldn't care about the extra weight because I'd have the best cars anyway. Then I would sign Jos and Fisi and and and.....

I agree w/ Toth. McLaren silver/black is one of the most unappealing liveries in F1. Formula One is and always has been about color. Who cares if your engine blows up as long as you're looking good when it does?!

I like their livery and hope it sticks around for a couple more years. It is done very well just like a well tailored suit. I think it looks classy with just the right touch of colour. I bet some of you guys who don't like the McLaren livery didn't like the JPS livery either as well as last years Williams. I like colour but its gotta be done right like the 93,94 Benetton, 95 Jordan. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Please, don't change it ! Unless they could improve it, McLaren are the best livery in F1 today !

I find Mclaren's livery design nice and neat, one of the nicest together with Jordan and BMW...however the colour scheme is on the dull side, grey black and white... Ferrari might be a single coloured scheme but its bright red, which makes it eye catching, and Jordan's yellow too.

Ron would NEVER add in more red...he had seen enough of it last year, and he had been beaten by a red car and a red team...hehh...

Mcmercs, they have the best colour-scheme ever!!!

Howevr they could do with streaks of chrome all around!

And i do like the 'classic' Mclaren Orange test cars.

Well Toth, you can't get no more boreing than red, year in, year out. Ferrari is the most boring colour, can't call it a colour sceme when its only one colour. But the best colour sceme of them all was the Canon Williams in the early nineties, with its blue and yellow, beautiful.

The silver is classy and gives McLaren a readily-identifiable image which a team like Williams, which chops and changes its colours, lacks. If anyone needs a makeover its Prost (they must have the dullest looking cars on the grid), or Jordan, who bring out a tacky monstrosity year after year.

But for me, the best livery had to be the all-black Shadows of the mid Seventies. I'm surprised black isn't more popular (though Arrows tried it a few years back). Sleek, sexy and it makes the sponsors names more visible. Surely the perfect combination?

I quite like the Mac's image. It has a certain style and sophistication. It is also unique which must be an important requirement of any team.

I have always liked the Prost/Ligier blue in the same way that Ferrari have made red their colour, so Prost/Ligier have with the Blue, and to a certain extent Jordan with Yellow over the last few years, although Minardi crashed into that party last year.

Maybe we should go back to the national colours of the past.

Wouldn't we have five teams in green then? Murray struggles enough as it is...

No changes at all, please!

IMHO, the McMercs are the most stylish and beautiful of the actual crop.
