Hey NME.....Our driver is the General Manager at:
(www.proformanceracing.com) She runs a good show there and if anyone is interested in starting a career this is a great place to go. They race at some of the good tracks like Sears Point, LaGuna Seca, etc. I am working my "butt" off trying to get us a sponsor so that she can get back on the track in Trans Am full time. If you are interested in some photos go to the "Sports Car" thread and look at the "Trans Am Photos" posts. |

Sorry, I can't help you with "arrive/drive' costs. I do know that the cost for a competitive team in Busch grand National is getting to be in the $4 million per season range.

A WC team needs in excess of $10 million to put a competitive team together for a season and that's if they already have their shop and equipment.
A Busch Team needs $3+million dollars for a season and again they would already need to have a shop and equipment. To start up and have to buy everything from scratch would make the amount go up considerably. Also, the cost could vary according to how many wrecks the driver got into and how many cars would have to be build during the season. |
