I will be watching on ESPN but I'm not sure what the coverage will be like and will see what I can find out. I'm sure it will be just some hourly updates with some 1/2 or 1 hour shows at the beginning and end of the race.

I found out the coverage schedule from the Grand American site for TV and Radio.
02-05 ESPN2 Live 12:30pm to 4:00pm 02-06 ESPN2 Live 7:00am to 1:30pm 02-17 ESPN Tape Delay Highlights 1:30pm to 3:00pm 02-25 ESPN2 Tape Delay Highlights 1:00pm to 2:30pm 02-05 MRN Radio 12:30pm to 1:30pm 4:30pm to 5:00pm 8:30pm to 9:00pm 12:30am to 1:30am 02-06 MRN Radio 8:30am to 9:00am 12:30am to 1:30pm All times are eastern US times. Sorry for those without ESPN2, maybe your ESPN affiliate will have some coverage. |

Thanks for the times, KC. Up to last year, I belive, ESPN2 would show qualifying and a bit of practice. Now I guess they have something more important to cover, like "World's Strongest Man" or some college basketball game from two colleges I've never heard of.
I will be watching the race, although I am not sure where. I have to work until 2 p.m. that Saturday, but I had planned on driving over there (about a 2 hour drive) after work. But now that it is so cold (even here in "sunny" Florida), I'm not sure I want to do that. However, one of these days, I am going to see that race. In the grandstands. For the whole 24 hours. Also, I tape the race. But my family is only interested in NASCAR, not sports cars, so I'd have to pay them to tape it for me, since I couldn't be there to tape it myself. |
