Northern Saloon & sports Car Championship
I heard, from one of our ex competitors that a lot of you guys down South haven't heard of our Championship. If you really want to see close friendly racing where fellow competitors get stuck in to repairing your car if things go wrong then have a look on youtube for dixonpeter. Fabulous in car footage of all the rounds.
Why not have a trip up to Croft or Oulton or Cadwell or Knockhill next year. All welcome. |

We've heard of it down here alright. The problem is there are dragons and then you fall off the edge of the world before you get to Croft let alone Knockhill.

If you can get past the M62 then the Dragons will leave you alone and you don't need a passport as we can't read!!!
If you want fun in your Motorsport then Croft's the place for you. |

You wouldn't recognise it now. 2.1 miles of fast technical tarmac. If DMN fancied coming up, Darlington DMC could offer a double header at either our May or September meetings.
You had one of our guys racing with you last weekend, Dave Cox in the Peugeot and Fraser Robertson was out with the Porsche at the same meeting. |

Croft is a great circuit, sadly I do think that its a bit far for DMN.

The Pug looks a lot harder to drive than the Fiesta, Andy. good race with the Porsches though.

correct terry, thats why I call the 306 'the bucking bronco' you never get a minutes rest in it, even in a straight line ! when I first got it thought where was something wrong with it, but after been out with its sister car & that was the same ! through the slow corners the fiesta is still loads quicker, but the likes of gerrards @ mallory the 306's quicker, but your chances of losing it about 200 % more
whens your new motor gunna be ready ? |

Funny I did two back to back track tests at Mallory with two competitive front running Fiestas, one was as smooth as silk and I loved it the other was an animal all other the place but the two guys were great mates with nothing in them on the track but thats how they liked the cars set up individually.

DMN was originally intended to be a regional championship and we attempt to keep prices low...a trip to Croft could be quite expensive. I'll make the suggestion but if I get laughed at I'm blaming you all!
