This thread belongs in the Trackside forum, but a lot of you don't go there and wouldn't see it, so i'll post it here and let a techie move it, and leave a re-direction.

Who's going and which day, where will you be and shall we all meet up?

I'm not sure, but I think you can buy pit passes at the circuit. Ring 5461 9100 to be sure.

I'll be out there doing the pit reporting thing, can't wait!! Don't forget to tune your radio into circuit commentary (around 87.6 i think) on the way too and from the track from around Yamanto before and after the race

There probably won't be any superscreens. Theoretically, every spectator can see the whole track.

They have a PA system with speakers all the way arund the track. The commentary will also be broadcast on 87.6 FM.

10/10 forum members "Big Voice", "Crash Test" and "Falcadore" are part of QR's commentary team.

In the couple of times I have been to QR I sat over at the back straight on the fence. You are right over the top of the cars as they go past. I have been hit in the face with rubber.

You can see the whole track from there but its a pain to get to the pits - you either walk or catch the bus.

Be prepared for a wait to get out - maybe hang around for the presentation before you think about going.

If you have been before I took the Drag racing turn off and parked in the drag car park - it was a BIG walk to the track but when I left I got straight out.

Take warm clothes it can get COLD.

Have a good day fordlover I have done this my son and we (he) really enjoyed it - I was the designated driver and he was the designated drinker (and I paid)

Right at the end of the back straight is very good- just as the cars brake for turn 3. Between the 200 and 100m boards but don't tell everybody!! Also turn 6 (final corner ) is good and fairly close the paddock if you want to go walking between races.

My Brother and I bought a 3Day Pass. My sister will be also be going on Friday. We usually just go on the Friday but decided to splurge and go the whole three days. I haven't been on race day since a 500km race a few years back when HRT dominated. While I have been there before, a friend of my Dad's said something about the Grandstand seating costing more. We usually just sit on the aluminium seats provided, are these the Grandstand seating or has there been a new Grandstand installed recently?

Well the 10/10 meet-up was a big success. I didn't meet anybody at all.
