Paul Mumford killed in plain crash
Paul Mumford a new Speed GT driver was killed yesturday when in private plane crashed. he was piloting when he reported a cockpit fire and tried to make an emrgency landing in Chino when it went down in the dry Santa Ana river. he recenlty won the Speed GT event at Laguna Seca and placed third in his debut in th eGT series at Road Atlanta. he was preparing to run a full 2004 campeign in the Speed GT. for all of u import enthusiasts paul mumford's viper ACR also won Sport Compact Car annual ultimate street car contest in 2002

It is a sad thing, and seems to be a pretty tragic year for SWC.
Lastly though, at least he went out with a win under his belt, and a well deserved one at that. I hope someone carries on the team, it has so much promise, as did he... Rest in Peace... |

yeah i forgot to add that my prayers and sympathy go to his family and friends. what he did in that viper with a little budget against the big factory teams was incredible. Rest in peace.
