American GT Challenge at mosport
the Tube frame fire breathers are at it again for the mosport event and the SCCA (who sanction GT-1 and ProSCCA does Trans-am and WorldChallenge...) has agreed to sanction the Mosport race..
Cool for all the drivers and AGT but what does it mean for future long term? the field is pretty strong too with 14 confirmed AGT teams, and who know which locals will head it up... Can SCCA give the Trans-Am mantle to AGT? whatever the outcome these stormers at Mosport should be quite a race I am so excited for it...I'll post back here after it all. |

I wonder what the SCCA sanction means...
So Fogelhund, not something to do without support, eh? I'm getting itchy and might yet go - depending on family requirements. |

well, I do know that it means the drivers get the insurance coverage SCCA offers, which is a good thing...beyond that, the implications...who knows? Maybe SCCA is turning over a new leaf...strange to have the competiting series under one umbrella though.

We'll be there -- my grandson will enjoy the racing no matter whether the SCCA sanctions it or not, and I'm looking forward to seeing what they can do.
I hope it's not cold this year. |
