Why is it that every dodgy thing happening in Australian business seems to have a link to V8SC?

What is even more disturbing, is that the surnames Tilley & Vereker both featured in that story, and this year alone I have seen racers with the exact same surnames competing in events on a track in Victoria !
Now call me a cynic, but wouldn't that mean that this whole thread is living proof that a 9 week break is far too long, and that some people will post about almost any drivel they can find ?  Oops, .........(me included)
