I was looking on the Yas Marina website earlier and there was no entry list posted. I did read somewhere else about 25 cars though. I hope it's more as I fly out to marshal the event next week

The race website is here:

http://www.gulf12hours.com/

And no suprises, it's a shambles with no real info provided. A "twitter" bit of news suggests that the entry list will be released on Monday.

Well that's more cars than I thought there would be. Why can't the organisers release this sort of info??

A small entrylist but with some decent lineups and teams.

Just curious as to the pace of the CN2 cars compared to the GT3s at the front?

Might've been a small field but six seconds covering the top three cars after 12 hours? Thats a good race in anyone's book. Congrats to AF Corse for the win. Would've been delighted to see a United Autosports win but theres always next time.

Just home from Abu Dhabi late last night. The inaugural race ran very well and I believe the organisers have already booked the circuit for their next race! The race(s) were actually 2 six hour races with a 45 minute gap between them which I felt worked quite well. There were very few 'big' incidents and by and large safety car periods were to recover cars that had faltered on track to facilitate getting them back to the pits so the teams could work on them and hopefully get them racing again. I believe there were only 2 or 3 cars that didn't make the finish after the two races.

Funnily enough, they were testing the McLaren for 3 days before the race. Chris Goodwin was driving.

Hello, ladies and gentelman. It's december, Gulf 2012 starts in less than ten days - so could someone say, where can I find anything, which could be taken as an entry list ?

The past few years we have been stuck with CCTV, but there was RLM. DSC saying that there will be 14 hours of live TV coverage with RLM this year though!

Current entry list off of Daygys speedtv.com preview. Much better than last year's entry. Too bad there's no real way to follow the event especially as it's on Friday .

Really? So why they were on front only in third session? Autorlando, ASM or Kessel were on front - but Gimmi or Toni? Smells bad...

Dagys confirmed on Twitter that there's no streaming for this race. That's a real shame. A GT3 race in December would have made me pretty happy.
