When Bobby Rahal left his CART team to undertake leadership with Jaguar Racing he took Mark Handford, formerly of Swift Engineering and Reynard with him. Jaguar's Gary Anderson has now left the team and took the lead position with Reynard. He said thathe had gotten tired of the F1 political battles and was "looking for a real racing series". Definitely sounds like some sour grapes to me. I could understand if he had gotten tired of the direction of F1 and its budget driven exclusivity and traded it in for a chance to design and engineer in what is a more competitive formula. I think that he may feel scapegoated for the failure of last year's Jaguar effort, but that is the name of the game in F1. He has been around long enough to know this.
I wish both of the gentlemen all the best in the endeavors.
