Winter at Thruxton
All track activity has now stopped for the winter at Thruxton and Pat has asked me again for suggestions for any potential improvements that could be undertaken during the off-season.
Please PM me with any sensible and practical suggestions! The work to regrade the run-off on the outside of Church has commenced. The armco by the service road has been removed to allow the infilling to begin. This work will take place over the next two winters. This year the run-off will be regraded from it's current downward slope to level. This will then be allowed to settle over the 2017 season and then will be regraded to a slight uphill angle during the 2017/18 winter. Last edited by Norbert; 7 Nov 2016 at 09:26.
