Linking a DL1 datalogger to an ST200 lap timer

Just wondered if anone has any experience of feeding the Race Technologies DL1 data logger with data from the Rollcentre ST200 lap timer. The distructions in the lap timer say that it can feed a data logger, but they aren't a great deal of help other than that! Next step is to call the relevant companies, but just thought I'd ask here first!

mattray has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Try speaking to a chap called John Chambers of Drive Data. He is a distributer for the DL1 and is going tobe doing a loom and sensors for the logger. he should be able to help you! http://www.drivedata.com/

Right...so it turns out it's a straight connection from the one to the other and means that i don't need to download the data from the laptimer as the data will be on the flashcard in teh DL1...result! I spoke with the guys who build the T200 here in the UK after RollCentre put me in touch. race Technologies will enable the software to read the data for me too! Can't wait to get out on the track and test it now!

Paul,

You can also attach your camcorder now as well for overlaid telemetry, could be really handy

I was taking a look at those systems and they do look good. Quality of videos is excellent. ...and I guess a good suite of videos would pass the winter months and relieve the withdrawl symptoms!!
