FOSC Bathurst @ Easter...
Looks like there're going to be very healthy grids for the Easter meet at Bathurst, one of which will be an all Mazda field...
Can't wait!!! Who's going? |

I got an invite to work the meeting but at this stage i can't justify the price of doing Bathurst twice or three times a year, if i had to pick one of the three it would of course be the V8s

Do you have an entry list Sultan? Particularly interested in this all-Mazda field.

No entry lists yet, I'll post them when I get it.
I was told that the mazda field will have 40+ cars, the majority of which will be MX5's. There's a particularly tasty '5' up here that's just been completed, & by all indications it should be quite a weapon. Unfortunately I'm not the one driving it!! Having said that, the toy I'll be playing with should keep me on my toes anyway... One of the novelties about this meeting will be the variety of grids - we won't always be running with the same group.. Can't wait!!!! |

Any other details? Do I need to buy a ticket? Will the whole track be open for spectating? How long will the races be?
And will this DTM car be turning up to do some laps? |

I'm pretty sure the entire track will be open for spectating, but from what I understand the DTM laps are a seperate event held by Mercedes Bnz earlier in the week - not sure exactly when though.
Look forward to meeting you mtpanorama, my car no. will be #611, a silver mx5 turbo... |

I believe the organisers intend to provide up to 5 races each, if we behave ourselves. I think i'm in Garage 32. |

If anybody has any general information about the evnt it would be much appreciated. Things such as an event timetable, entry lists, spectator information, ticket prices, etc. There has been no mention of it at all in Bathurst, and I can't find anything of interest on the FoSC website.
Thanks for your help. |
