As far as I understand it there is a round of the Belned championship on the 17th, the Minicrossers have been over to Valkenswaard a few times before and this year the super series have been invited over too. So in effect it's not a stand alone super series event, more a round of the Belned series with some of the Brits out to play too (at least that's the way I understand it from looking at the super series website and the entry list).
Best of luck to all those competing (hope you get the car finished and bring it back in one piece Scott ) |

In the preview they speak about:
Gordon Rogers (Vauxhall Corsa); Allan Tapscott (Vauxhall Corsa), Simon Horton (Rover Metro Gti), Mike Howlin (Ford Fiesta), David Baines (Peugeot 205 Gti), Gary Dixon (Vauxhall Astra GTE) en Mike Sellar met zijn drie-liter Renault Clio V6 and david Binks (MINI) The entrylist shows only Binks and Howlin??????? In division 1 only Bell and Hill. I don't think they wil and beat the belgian/dutch drivers. |

I've split this from the Who's going thread as this is talking about entry lists and the like and is better served in the Rallying forum. Obviously though, please keep your comments on if you're going yourself in the Trackside thread!

Another point I'm getting confused on here is who's eligible to win the Super Series 'Dutch Master' title? Is it just the super series registered cars or are the Dutch and Belgians eligible too? Any ideas?
Should be a good event though, plenty of Div1 entries and healthy looking entries in most other classes even if the Brits and Irish are a bit thin on the ground. |

Brits @ Valkenswaard
A mixed day for the British crews.
Tony Bell finished 5th in the A-Final, but..... .....poor Steve Hill had a disastrous day Whole sequence here. In combined Supermodified/Stock Hatch it was David Binks from Mike Howlin & Kirk Twyman. Why only 3 entries? The entry was free, shuttle fare for Kirk's team was £76 and Valkenswaard is only 200 miles from Calais!! Richard Wakeling won the Minicross A-final - more details soon at www.mini-cross.co.uk. Brilliant weekend - superb meeting, great atmosphere, really good hospitality from the natives AND excellent weather. |

Amazing pictures of Tony Bell's crash.
I trust that he was OK apart from a large repair bill? |

Really unfortunate to get caught up the way he did. Check out this link from inside Tony Bell's car video - looks like he was an innocent victim. Hope he's not put off Rallycross completely! Roy |

Certainly a big one! Glad to hear he was ok - more than can be said for the car though, that's one for the bin surely?
The Minis certainly look like they were enjoying themselves out there - frantic as ever |

All the Mini's (12 cars in all) managed to survive the weekend, apart from Ralph Budd, who's car ended up in the wall and him in the medical centre. He is ok but the car needs some TLC.
Richard Wakeling won the final from John Thacker and Matt Roach. Thomas Edwardes made he debut in the formula, having moved up from Junior Minicross and also drove a Ford RST (Ford Academy car). There were new cars for Phil Sharpe and Scott Lawson but both ended up with battle scars. They also run a consolation final with a reversed grid but this ended in disaster with Matt and Scott blocking the track, but amazingly the race continued with Mark Griffin taking the win. All in all an excellent weekend. A big thanks for the organisors. |

Glad to hear the car survived Scott (even if you did pick up a few battle scars - at least if proves you were trying )

Rebuild? I know competition cars have remarkable powers of recovery but that's going to be one hell of a job, still good luck to them. The most important thing is Steve was ok. |
