Lowes Busch Event Thread. *SPOILERS*

Mears and Edwards tangle, Kenseth spins and Blaney wins his first Busch race.

What a strange event.

And congratulations to Kevin Harvick. 2006 Busch Champion!

What a surprise that is, I honestly expected Harvick to crack under pressure and lose it all.

I won't get to see this until Monday evening sadly....damn you MotorsTV!

Refreshing to see Mears take blame for the collision between him and Edwards. However, in my opinion Edwards forced the issue somewhat by forcing Mears up the track when Mears was attempting the pass causing Mears to get sideways and take them both out.

BTW, Kyle Petty did a credible job in the broadcast booth. Good and honest discussion of the race.

I'm sad I missed the race. Blaney's one of my favorite drivers. Congrats to him on finally winning in one of the big three NASCAR series. Hopefully he can get his first cup win next year with Toyota backing!

Great result for Stacy Compton.

But then, I'm baised.

Still, it's hardly likely that it'll save his drive in the Busch series.

Rob.
