Stephane Sarrazin to race Aston Martin
hes on the Sebring entry list. Makes sense, because of his Prodrive WRC contract.

cool stuff... we'll see who can do a better job of adapting to sportscars from rally cars, Sarrazin this year or McCrae last year

you have to remember, Sarrazin started off in Sportscars (ran for Oreca in the Dallara in 2002, and Pescarolo in 2003) he also has F1 experience. he just started rallying last year.

I'd expect Sarrazin to be on the pace much more quickly that McRae. No disrespect to McRae, of course, but Sarrazin has a long circuit racing pedigree.

Incidentally, I assume Sarrazin is joining the Kox/Lamy car?

To answer my own question, yes: it's Brabham/Ortelli/Turner and Kox/Lamy/Sarrazin. That's a pretty handy line-up.

Yes, not too bad is it? Let's hope the car is more than up to doing them all justice.

Sarrazin in for Enge?
With Sarrazin in the Aston Martin for Sebring, what has happened to Tomas Enge? He was one of the original six listed drivers. Has he simply got other commitments on the Sebring race date or is he out of the Aston picture completely?

well, Tomas would be in the car for Le Mans, since they need someone to replace Ortelli (he is in the oreca audi) so it works out perfectly..

Enge has IRL commitments the weekend of Sebring, anyway.

Hard to see where McRae might get a berth, unless one of the Ferrari teams gives him a shot.

Thank god! I was worried we had lost him. I really wish I had been around in the days when more drivers diversified (although, hopefully this years Daytona was not a one off)

Not sure we ever had him. How many spins? Aside from that, and based on what I have read and seen on TV / DVD, he didnt seem to enjoy himself at all.
