The Great Britain Round up

First the Relevant Facts and figures that determine the points…
23 cars qualified within the 107% time

Pic was allowed to take his place on the Grid by the stewards after a technical failure prevented Qualifying. Pic receives a -50 point penalty

There were 4 Grid drop penalty to be applied…

Pic and Hulkenberg both replaced Gearboxes out of sequence resulting in 5 place penalties, Kobayashi and Vergne both carried penalties from the previous race of 5 and 10 grid places respectively for avoidable contact.

As these Penalties, Hulkenberg drops from Q3 to Q2 and only receives one Bonus Point. Kobayashi stays within the Q2 group and keeps his Bonus, Vergne drops from Q2 to Q1 loses his Q2 Bonus point.

Qualifying bonuses for Constructor having both cars in Q3 go to Red Bull, Ferrari and Lotus with the Engine supplier bonuses going to Mercedes and Renault for each powering 2 different constructors into Q3.

There were 3 leaders of the race Alonso, Hamilton and Webber, each receives 1 bonus point. Alonso lead the most laps resulting in additional bonus points to him, and to Ferrari for both Constructor and Engine supplier.

Fastest lap went to Raikkonen taking the bonus points for himself, Lotus and engine supplier Renault.

The top 2 engines from each supplier, powering different constructors are colour coded for easy reference.

Of those who were classified non finishers; there were no constructor Technical DNFs.

Petrov failed to take the race start due to an Engine Failure. As the Car was not withdrawn and the Grid reformed, Petrov shall be considered as the first Non-finisher in the race. Renault receive the Engine Failure -10 points penalty.

Onto the results…

We have another new winner for this round; Moral Victors 56pts takes first place from Blue Hawk Racing (47pts) and sharing third place and 44pts Redneck Racing and Goblin Target Racing.

In the Overall, Moral Victors (446pts) extend their lead over the field, with Redneck Racing now in Second (418pts), just ahead of Team AWB with 416pts.
