Race of Champions.

Just wondered if anyone has ever been to the Race of Champions in Paris, and if you have what is your opinion on the event.

No.

This is the first year the event's been held in Paris.

Previously it's been in Gran Canaria.

This year's format should offer a more level playing field between racers and rallyers.

There's a few threads discussing the event over at the ten-tenths rallying forum.

And there was I thinking this would be a thread about the Formula 1 race where I saw Keke Rosberg win in a Theodore at Brands Hatch!

It should be interesting with Michael, Coulthard and couple other F1 pilots along with Loeb, Gronholm and other WRC pilots duking it out

Wow, that is something! Will do a lot for exposure & make for some impressive pics on the tv, even if the course will not be as good (probably). I only wish we get to see it on tv in Australia, the event hasn't been on free to air for years.

Is anyone going, I'm going with my wife & kids. When I saw it first advertised in Autosport a while ago I checked my work roster & when I found I was off I thought it was to good an opportunity to miss & booked up. With all the names that are being added to the entry list it's going to be a fantastic event!
