Intrest Continues to grow in FRenault V6 Series
The article says that Manor Motorsports and Paston Racing are just some of the 65 teams that have shown a intrest in the series. With the 3.5ltr V6 engine producing 320BHP the cars are being seen as the perfect stepping stone between Formula 3 and F3000.
Also with Live tv coverage on Eurosporthttp://www.crash.net/news_detail.asp?championship_id=26&news_id=52920&language_id= it appears the series will do well. Here is the full article. |

Matteo Bobbi was testing the car at Barcelona and has said there's a problem with tyres loosing grip after a few laps.
They were evaluating a increase on the tyre size. |

Whats the point, the challenge seems to be much more intresting, according to motorsport news. 370bhp, crossply tyres and no downforce! Now thats motorsport.

They wont be as fast though no front wing, hmm should make for some intresting cornering I suppose. Nah personally this series seems to be a lot more professional. The cars have 50bhp more power in the challenge than the Formula Renault v6 challenge but the cars in the Challenge will only be able to reach 170mph according to this weeks Motor Sport News. Formula Renault V6 on the other hand will top 175mph.
The Challenge appears to me to be well a Formula Ford car with a big engine stuck in it. Lets also not forget that The Challenge is a National series, not International like the Formula Renault V6. |
