Did Peugeot give the specs of the car?


EDIT: I see at Racecar Engineering website it's the 908HY instead of 909H.

So the car will not allowed to score points in 2009, with what cars will Pug run in the LMS? One standart 908 and one HY? Two standart cars, one HY?

I have some detailed info on the car but not enough to make a meaningful piece from yet. Its KERS in the F1 sense - which give a 60kw boost for 20 seconds at Le Mans. It uses 2 Li-Ion battery packs and a single motor generator in placed of the starter motor. They system wieght is around 65kg, but with various weight savings elsewhere only adds 45kg.

It will not do the full LMS just selected races including Le Mans. I would expect (and hope) to see it at Sebring also.

What happens if they win Le Mans overall with a non-compliant LMP1 car? Other manufacturers (say Audi) might not like that

Since we know Corsa's car actually doesn't have the hybrid yet, was the car at Silverstone actually running the hybrid system?

Diesels are quiet, but this was SILENT in the pit lane, purely electric.

I'm just editing today, but have a shot somewhere of Audi mechanics diving out to watch it on the first roll out.

No unfortuneately

Bruno Famin says in interview on Endurance-Info that the car needs developpment and improvement and that they'll work on it in 2009...
