Skyline.
Or Subaru Turbo. Or Ferrari F355. Actually, the TRUE car-of-the-90s would have to be the Ford Focus. |

Corvette! Finally got it's balls back with the LT1, then came the ZR-1, then the LS1 in '97.

Subaru Impreza has made the most impact in the UK fast road car market.

true, they are everywhere.
I drove a non turbo one, and i wasnt impressed with its handling, the suspension was too soft and the stearing too light. It felt like a big car too. |

turbo versions might be a different kettle of fish tho.
what about other icons like Toyota Supra, Toyota Celica GT4, Mazda RX7 turbo II. |

As I am running an Impreza Sport at the moment while the Alpina is "hors de combat" I would say it is the easiest car to drive I have ever driven. I doesn't make the heart beat like the turbos or the Alpina but it is a bloody good car. It rolls too much for my taste but since we have been having our own Swedish up here i am bloody glad I have had it. I towed a transit out of an icy car park earlier this year and I haven't managed to get stuck in the drifts despite doing my best.

The spec's on the NSX out class just about every thing, but my hart is with the Supra Mk-IV. I have a MK-III and that turbo L-6 is an amasing engine; I've done very little to mine to get 350 HP. It gets about 30% better gas milege than any outher car of that weight and power, that I'm aware of.

Even in jest you have lost the plot! The VN (that pile of mobile shyte) came out in '88! I think the Ducati 916. |
