Helio to appear on Letterman show tonight
Helio Castroneves is slated to appear as a guest on "The Late Show with David Letterman" tonight. For those of you who don't know David Letterman hosts a late night comedy/variety talk show on CBS. Letterman is often a better interviewer of race car drivers than many other talk show hosts as the Indiana-born Letterman is a life long Indy racing and Formula One fan. Letterman is also part-owner of CART's Team Rahal. Check your local listings as Helio is always a pleasure to watch.

I wonder if Letterman will ask him about the "brain fade" he had at Milwaukee? Especially as he hit one of David's cars ...

Unless traffic has dramatically improved in NY since I lived there, this race would be even slower than an IRL race.

Liz......no. Basically, it's the same. Although Lord Combover did clean up Times Square, the traffic is worse than ever.

Dave did ask him about the Mil. race and Helio just said Brack was slow into the corner so he went for it. He also asked him about his fence climbing and some joke about getting dates now that he has won Indy. Thought the interview was a bit short though - Just one show segment... I don't watch Letterman but I always thought the first guest was on for 2 segments. |
